I mean I edited the guide to specifically point out the -master issue, but there's only so much I can do

People never read. I always need to place huge pieces of paper on important sections at work to make sure that there's no way in hell people miss what they need to do - sadly they still do from time to time.

I mean in all fairness, there really aren't a whole lot of ways to figure out "Oh hey the wiki has a page on adding modules" none of the modules to my knowledge link to it and it ain't exactly on the front page

You would hope that they don't read the instructions but somehow that's one part they partially know how to do.

The issue in my mind is that some people still won't put the effort in to fix it even with multiple people telling them exactly how to do it.
