I tried that, but the add spell doesn't seem to work right. Inputting .learn spell [mage name] 293 returns no error, response, or proficiency bar under skills (default 'k'). If I try to enter the command a second time I get "you already know that spell". Any ideas?

However, trying to equip plate after that gives the error "you don't have the proficiency for that item".

I'm not sure if the fact that mages don't have the plate skill in the dbc files has anything to do with it.

Ohh, possibly. Is that something I could modify in the swl tables?

I honestly don't know if server-side is all that's required.

I would think it would be but I can't say for sure since I've never tried it.

I believe it would be, but you may have visual issues with the client

I’m positive you don’t need to edit any dbcs to do this

I’m not aware of you being able to use learn that way
