No, every way of installing the core uses the same source code. It's never different.

There's aliases for teleport locations in the DB that convert to zone,x,y,z locations, that's why I figured items might have a similar lookup table.

Huh. modify speed also doesn't seem to do anything anymore. Gives a text prompt that it modified speed, but actual speed doesn't change. o_O
