Probably error'd something in apache because the connection times out when you use https.

Well, or you reset the config and it doesn't have SSL at all so it's obviously not listening on 443

i just checked chrome
it had saved my apache reroutes from 80 to 443 even tho 443 was not used

If apache automatically redirected you to 443, which it does is SSL is ever active, the browser will cache https every time.

no the thing is the server was reset and rolled back to nothing
chrome is ugly to work with in catching errors because it saves literally everything
