So the issue lies with Docker. I don't know the software so I can't suggest fixes but that is clearly the issue that needs to be resolved.

I'm using docker desktop as recommended by chormiecraft's guide. I can start the server and play locally

Unless you're playing on the same system that runs Docker and it uses the same IP. Other people should still be able to connect but get stuck at the realm selection screen.

So my original suggestion was to get a static webpage up we could hit. Before delving into the docker Mysql Issue. I dont think thats in place yet.
