Sorry, I did not explain well. The documentation for creature_equip_template table's CreatureID field says:

The direct corresponding id in creature table or entry in creature_template table.
```
So it seems that the creature_template entry can be used, but there is no explain of how to use it.

Hm, I am just look more and it seems the creature_template entry ID can be used directly. It seems that this design is only hoping that there is never a time you want to use a creature GUID that is also a creature_template entry ID.
