New build venture is going well, but hit a snag with the AH BOT. IS there a way to nudge the AH bot to sell glyphs outside of just increasing the total number of items it posts?

Ok. To make sure I pump it correctly, do I pump it in the sql base, or the conf.dist file or both?

Well you shouldn't be making changes to the .conf.dist, you should copy the .dist and rename it to just .conf and make the changes there

Actually, question about that. Why do I change the extension to .conf from conf.dist when the latter can be opened with notepad?

Both can be opened with Notepad, and you're not changing the extension so much as making a copy with the new extension

The reasoning is that in case an update happens, it'll update the conf.dist and it won't cause any issues for settings you've tweaked

Well, mainly it uses the .dist for the default values in case any are missing in the .conf file. It's something that should be added to the core instead of a .dist file but all in due time.
