Its easier to just leave Windows the Step Sister that gets abused then it is to make Windows and Linux have parity. Windows is Gud-E-nuff its not worth the time to add and maintain that final layer of polish

No kidding. My opinion is that Linux has the upper hand in every situation when it comes to being a server.

Polish the Linux and leave the windows just good enough to be functional. Is far easier then changing them both to make them polished. Its about the same in every open source project

Nah. Learning Curve Windows Beat Unix and Linux Hands Down.
Ease of Use And Hand Holding they had Unix Cold. Its why they are still on the market long after you can get for free everything they make ya pay for

Yeah, learning curve because it's a GUI every time. For me though, I have an easier time to learn Linux-related things compared to Windows, so for me I would say the opposite.

I use Windows when working on a module or something because visual studio is a godsend, of course.

You could setup a WinNt Server with Email and DNS and ADSI and File Sharing and Print Sharing in a few hours most of that time was swapping CD's. Unix was pain. Days of wierd erros that had no documentation it just plain hurt
