Having run a trinity core server for friends I can say this is true. AC just worked and the modules are a sinch (vs patching the “other guys”).

Nothing beyond WotLK is anywhere near playable. Yes, it runs but it's so broken that you're gonna see a serious amount of issues. There were just too many changes to the game past WotLK and noone has managed to, or bothered to, handle it.
I can't think of a way of knowing the exact percentage of how 'complete' a core is. You fix something and it could potentially break something else unintentionally. That goes for any game, really, including Blizzards games. AzerothCore is very good, regardless, and it's backed by an amazing community and great support. I obviously can't speak for other cores since I haven't touched another WotLK core since I discovered this one, perhaps their community is great too - I don't know.
