I was wondering about that because my default is 10.0.0.1 and they were using 172.0.0.1, right

Its windows right? Just open cmd and do ipconfig /all

maybe i should try changing all the locals to that. that seems really tedious and i have no idea how likely it is to fix anything

If everythings on one machine its prob best to leave them as 127.0.0.1
