I suppose you could use `make install -j $(nproc)` or `make -j $(nproc) install`

You're asking if it's supposed to be single core which it is unless you tell it to use more cores.

The wiki shouldn't say the number only, it should suggest using $(nproc), which is the amount of cores the system has access to, or the number if you want to limit the amount of cores

But regardless, it's still just a command parameter, and considering not many people would benefit from having the make install part use multiple cores very much, there's not much reason to explicitly point out that you can add more cores to it

I've never in my life met anyone who wans to limit themselves to 1 core if they have access to more while compiling the source.

That sounds atypical

For the record, `make install` in most distros will execute `make` and `make install` in one. That's why I mentioned adding the `-j` argument to it.
