If this is meant to be on your Windows desktop, you have several options:
- virtualize through VMWare Player, VirtualBox or Hyper-V. Pretty much any virtualization platform works.
- you can run it as a docker container (Hyper-V)
- you can run it on linux subsystem for windows
- you can run it as native Windows

To be honest I don't even want to make it work from Windows, I was expecting to test some changes on Windows as it's my main pc and when everything works fine move it to my linux docker

since you mentioned a Pi, I suspect this isn't meant to be used in a production environment, and at that point overhead is irrelevant as long as you have enough resources. pick what works best for you
