No. 24 cores, 48 threads. I run Proxmox so I only assign what I need because there's no point in giving a container all cores if they're just going to laugh at me.

A cpu core can only perform 1 task at a time, it's irrelevant in this case if it's assigning cores or threads. A VE handles it the way it handles it.

it does matter bcs some programs will take it as cores and some as threads and there is difference in performance between core and thread
