You say that you wouldn't create a wotlk server in 2022 if you had a choice. You do. You either create one or you don't. You're not being forced to run a server, you **choose** to do so.

so i meant it like when i want to create wow server i have no choice other than wotlk (if i dont want tbc or vanilla) bcs newer espansions are practically non existent bcs cores which exist are so broken its not worth it and fixing it requires team of fulltime devs....so thats it....i wouldnt use wotlk in 2022 if i had choice to use something newer

Again, you still do have a choice. There are cores post-wotlk, even if most of them aren't working anywhere near as well as they should. You choose not to use a broken core only to get access to a newer expansion. There's no argument that could change that fact that at the end of the day it's still your choice. I fully understand what you're saying, it just bugs me with the choice thing.
