Unless they have some sort of advanced AI creating their expansions, which would explain why it went more towards junk with every expansion actually.

I mean at some point I remember they had some sort of super-skeleton that worked with every model or something, so I guess that makes it not hand-crafted

That would explain things I guess. WotLK was great, cata was good, mop was ok, after that it really was some idiotic skeleton making the expansions. Well, that's my opinion - to make it clear since others might enjoy those.. *expansions*.

There were so many new features in cata that really increased the value of the expansion. I had a great time in that one.
