Inside your wow client, there should be a WTF folder with a config file there, you'd change the realmlist there to the address of the server. You'd also do the same for the realmlist.wtf file in whatever folder is inside your Data folder

I always change both, sometimes my users only change the realmlist.wtf and they can't connect for whatever reason

Cata and above use the file in the wtf folder, pre-cata though it's in the data folder
