If you don't use any custom changes, there's even less of a reason to back up the world db.

all this time i just save the entire db every day after changes updates etc

Usually with HeidiSQL it shows you the actual commands it's doing, so you can just copy those to Notepad and save it with a .sql extension

If you don't change something yourself, like for example changing the price of items or whatever, you don't have to think about it and there's never really a reason to back up the world db

Those are the ones you should save in a separate .sql file, using UPDATE queries etc, so it's a minimal amount of storage space for those backed up changes
