CMake is still assigned to using OpenSSL 3.0.

You have to send variables to CMake telling it which installation of OpenSSL to use, pointing to the one you compiled.

If it was using a compiled 1.1 version ,it wouldn't complain about OpenSSLCrypto.

You can't use `.i` etc because there are many command starting with `i`. You have to use enough characters to the point where the command it tries to find is unique. For example, `.ins` would instantly get picked up as `.instance` because there are no other commands starting with `ins`

No, I can't because I don't know how because I never had to do it. It has been tested a lot here and no real solution was ever found. When it comes to Ubuntu, pretty much all of them decided to just downgrade to 20.04.
