Try deleting the build folder and start over, otherwise you have to manually tell it what libraries to use because it still assumes 3.0 is the current version.

You can also try running autoclean and autoremove (if running a debian-based distro) and see if that fixes the problem.

Since ubuntu 22 came out I can only suggest moving over to Debian since it doesn't screw stuff like this over.
