Might end up with compatibility with the classic client a la HermesProxy, but that's not for me to say

If I were to guess, it would require an update from the Eluna module. I haven't been working on that module though so I obviously don't know for sure.

Yeah, i understand. I wasn't sure if there was a mindset of "lets work on Classic cores to replace the dated vanilla cores".

I see too many that dislike so many of the changes to the Classic client, myself included, and after all it's shadowlands with WotLK content basically - I don't think it could replace the vanilla client.

I don't think replacement is a good idea, but I definitely don't mind the idea of having both in circulation and functional for those who prefer either
