You are able to point cmake to the correct library, I'm know that. I would say spending time finding the solution is totally worth it.

About that.. it still finds libssl.so and libcrypto.so on a different path, on /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/

Ubuntu 22 comes with 3.0 and he has compiled 1.1 so we're trying to find out how to tell cmake to use the 1.1 binaries instead of 3.0.
