To keep trying things like that, I suggest to update your server system (os, packages, etc) if you did not update it since a long time

Same result. Fresh core source from about 2 hours ago...
created database manually and then it actually kicked field list errors...

Finally got it started but I had to manually create the table mail_server_character then the two fields mailId and guid. then it applied more sql updates and is actually running now.

If you updated straight to latest and skipped the squash commit you might be missing sql
