I mean that's likely the best practice, though I'm sure there are things you could omit depending on how mature the server is

And I don't mean 'mature' as a slight, I mean things like guild information if you have no guilds, pet information if you don't have hunters/warlocks/etc, that sort of thing

Yes, unfortunately I don't know the corresponding relationship, so exporting all should be a more secure method.

Luckily (at least in my experience) the characters db doesn't get *too* inflated, so it shouldn't be too hard to move over
