Not necessarily, I don't see why not, other than it potentially being a little "slower" for developers in the sense of prototyping. For distribution purposes and reloading for that matter it's probably better though

Would probably be quite a lot more performant depending on the language though, compared to using an interpreted language, but I don't really see performance being a massive real world problem for something like this
