ok, I also didn't end up using the .mpq patcher because it was a smaller size, no idea why, definitely something on my end with not knowing how to make an mpq file. So I just threw in the "PUT ME IN A CLIENT PATCH" to the client data folder and renamed it "patch-b.MPQ" or some patch letter. That worked for me
