Also, kind of beside the point, but it is theoretically possible to turn the player into a lootable corpse, then you can snag items off of the player corpse. It's a tad more complex than a chest but I can have a go at that too if you want

I suppose the 18-limit loot window will still be the main limiting factor though

you can def make it a toggleable option. If its something people would want, i would want it to be part of this 'one stop shop' for this mechanic

my gripe with that personally, is .. i like a buncah chest spawns, cus the player cant loot them all at once.
