I use playerbots on my server, and I simulate about 1k real players, but with a lower load compared to real players.

There's not neccesarily a problem, if it does. And - like is said - it forces all map threads to be serial, not parallel.

Well, I’m not going to write any complex game logic there, eluna is simply more convenient than constantly editing tables
