I would say is the other way around. But that eluna can certain things more effiecient, it can, the module you've access to the source of the core. Just matter of having the correct hook in the case of missing any you need. Eluna is limited to functions it has, and i dont know if you can (probably can) create your own (to achieve things that are may not intended or stable therefor not added before)
