So you would need to keep entry, name, description and displayid and maybe quality
And make a new item (scroll) with whatever name you've (i dont know how this reflects on the actual creating an "item".
But from then, you've just to display that modelid and any information on the new item.
You probably could get the cpp (and somehow migrate it to lua) from the transmog module see how they do it. The Transmoging itself
