do you know if this `image: acore/ac-wotlk-worldserver:${DOCKER_IMAGE_TAG:-7.0.0-dev.1}` supports developing modules and where should I mount them inside the volume?

I'm sorry, i am not at all familiar with docker. I know that the azerothcore-wotlk repo can be compiled including modules, while the acore-docker repo can't. But that's about it.

You can do that, too. It'd be savvy for non-blizz-like servers who have stripped the hourly bells event.

Using on startup for this is fine. You use startup to register the timed event at the full hour or whenever, then in that event you iterate over the players in the world (or select a random player or whatever)
