Events do only what you code inside the function you register with them.
The core saves players regularly and under certain circumstances, e.g. on logout, when typing `.save` (rate-limited) and after a time determined in the config, too.

Gotcha, thank you! So in my case, it will make a ping every 5 minutes to save players
