A large part of my inspiration is a wc3 TD called soildiers. One of the core appeals of that map is that it has a very large selection of different teams, which you select randomly. This keeps games fresh and discovery is fun. My goal is also to not default to the static notion of having "one" td map like shown above. But rather that the game is a campaign that moves your around the world, with events happening as you go along.
