This function opens the Auction House interface, but it shows an infinite loading and not listing any items (not able to sell items either).
Does anyone knows why?

The menu is called by an item, not by a NPC, and the AH is cross-faction. Is there way to make it work this way?

The core expects the sender to be an auctioneer, so unless you modify the core then that's the limitation
