Because you're creating a command, thus you should use the command hook

Any idea why this doesn't work:
> local command = "test"
>
> function Test(event, player, message, type, language)
> if(message == command) then
>
> **player:CastSpell(2825)**
The bold part is wrong

I tried also unit:CastSpell(unit, 2895, true), same thing

the script works if I put only:
> player:SendBroadcastMessage("something something")

Unrelated to your problem, but you're still using the wrong hook. The chat hook is called way more often and you're badly decreasing your performance.
