You're right, ofc it should be checked both times. The damaging event should just check for full health as well.

There's potentially cases where it would have been completed but not caught by the timed event and the damage taken event, but it would be < 1 second, really poor timing and super unlikely

I was just about to say, i can still check when the trial expires. but that defeats the whole purpose of the creature events again.
