<@279310757362008065> I had no issues applying my customizations since long time ago. Maybe your customizations needed some special modifications, so why don't you send PRs to facilitate the introduction of such special cases to the main core?

<@279310757362008065> when we started this project I spent more than 8 hours to make it compilable in different platforms. Then eventually I succeed and fixed all issues.

Saying that it's nightmare to new contributors does not help the project. Sending PRs with your improvements does

<@279310757362008065>, man, you can get some difficulties to specific configuration, but this core is the best for custom things, I talk as developer, not a user.
To get transmog you don't need to install patch and break your core, you can install all modules and custom things just download the module and put it on modules/.
The modular structure make this core good for custom things.
An example that touch me in person is that you can't add a new entire custom battleground just downloading it and put a folder somewhere and run the core, for the other core you are forced to apply some patches and afterwards you have to maintain this patches with the updates of the core.
Be careful when you say something , just play more with azerothcore stuff and may after judge it

anyway, agree some configs miss, but you should consider that to install (example) transmog in another core you need know C++, indeed, with the module not, you just put the module in the modules directory and use it
