I must've oversighted something but after following the Classic Azerothcore installation today everything in-game seems to be working just fine. However in the acore_world the spell_dbc data seems be missing for all portals because no portal functionality is working.
What am I missing here? The automated worldserver database installation should install the correct spell_dbc by default?

Not all spells are in the spell_dbc table.
The dbc tables are only for overrides. The core reads dbc **files** first and then overrides with what's inside the database DBC tables.

`spell_dbc`'s actual purpose (aside from custom use, which is overrides) is for serverside spells

Alright that explains why they're missing, however then I wonder why the teleportation of portals isn't functional.
