I've been trying to create a custom item but am having an issue where an axe is not considered a melee weapon? I updated the DBC, or so I thought I did, but still not seeing it fix anything. I've tried googling around and searching the discord but didn't seem to find much on this. Does anyone know whats up with doing this or know a good resource I may have overlooked?

Create a patch file with the item.dbc in it just changing the dbc file server side is not enough you need to add that information in the client as well

Create a patch, create a folder named DBCFilesClient and put the dbc file in there

This seems to be the step I was missing. Thank you!
