Can someone help with existing spell duplication.
I want to apply shadowmourne effect on my custom weapon. So I used this spellId - https://wotlk.ezhead.org/?spell=71903 and created a new spell with my custom spellId. I also noticed from spell description that there are few additional ids linked with spell 71903:
*Your melee attacks have a chance to drain a Soul Fragment granting you $71905s1 Strength. When you have acquired $71905u Soul Fragments you will unleash Chaos Bane, dealing $71904s1 Shadow damage split between all enemies within $71904a1 yards and granting you $73422s1 Strength for $73422d. *
So I created few more spells for each unique and updated my initial spell description with new spell ids like that:
*Your melee attacks have a chance to drain a Soul Fragment granting you $100003s1 Strength. When you have acquired $100003u Soul Fragments you will unleash Chaos Bane, dealing $100002s1 Shadow damage split between all enemies within $100002a1 yards and granting you $100004s1 Strength for $100004d.*
I also created custom weapon by just copy pasting all data from real shadowmourne. And my custom weapon works as expected but I can't have 2 unique soul fragments at one time when I use Shadowmourne and my custom weapon. They both just scale soul fragments 2x faster
https://wotlk.ezhead.org/?spell=71905
Can someone give a hint about what I can check/debug to make it work? I have assumption that naming must be unique for spells?

Yeah the person that posted their "custom" one got me wondering how good the 'generic' GPT-4 would be with it. So figured I would throw some of my questions (or other questions I've seen) at it and see what responses I get. I have notes on some of it to test out and see how accurate/useful it is.
As with all tools/information - gotta take it with a grain of salt (especially in "creative" mode which is what I have the MS Edge GPT in). But I'm curious to see if I can throw some things at it and have it help me build a module or two. One of them kind of already exists (and actually the Chat redirected me to it multiple times) but I wanted to push to make it give me code to see if I could turn the snippets into a workable module. It likes to initially reference eluna LUA stuff but if requested it will attempt to give C++ variants.
Combined with my limited C++ and VERY limited MVC experience I figured it would be a fun way to mess around. (though getting the 'mess around' time is always an issue).

The ideal place to talk about customization like that is in a wow modding discord.

You'll get it to help you for sure. But it's gonna need a lot of handholding and patience on your end.
And ultimately **you** need to solve it's problems, pointing it to the right direction.

Otherwise it will just keep doing it wrong. At least that's what i've seen myself and heard about.
