I'm doing some work with `item_template`, and I noticed that class=2 (weapon), subclass=11, 12 are both "Exotic". Does anyone know what an "exotic" weapon is? And why are there two of them?

Weapon class = 2, subclass = 12 doesn't appear to be used at all in the database.
Weapon class = 2, subclass = 11 appear to be NPC weapons
These weapons appear without any weapon proficiency bound to them.
It is important to note that subclass 11 is mostly a blizzard flavor for deprecated fur & metal items, furs, animal hearts, some both primary and secondary profession items like cooking wood, flint, fish, oils, clams, feathers, vials, blacksmithing flux, rogue poison ingredients, creature scales and so on. So it's a flavor to describe exotic natural things.
subclass 12 appear to be only enchanting related items, so a flavor to describe exotic mystical things.
tldr, the general purpose of this is probably a more RPG aspect of the items.

Thanks! I didn't even think to just look in the database. This really helps
