It's basically a client and a server (separate, not built-in) and I believe the idea is that you can give it textures etc and code it basically to be any game and any expansion or a completely new game for that matter.

Joined their Discord, I roughly understand now. It's like a toolkit, we can create our own works, even WOW, but this should require a considerable amount of effort
