Not limited to stock AC. If you have somewhat decent scripting, your custom implementation can achieve the same.

Agreed it is very good how it is, and more or less would only be fun/future proof or maybe better for playerbots, but who knows maybe even that the performance might be minimal

Hi <@261790372743610368> really interesting discussions and thanks for the invite. I now notice how deep this rabbit hole goes lol. As much as I love performance, my personal goal was to get 10k bots running, which I think has been achieved. I'd like to focus more on Playerbots as there is soo much stuff still to do there, including all kinds of optimizations. I did have a look at Map::Update and perhaps you can have a look at some work I did around that: https://github.com/nl-saw/azerothcore-wotlk/tree/map which does slightly help with 10k bots.
