Yeah, it will solve the second issue as well. While I think it’s the best option to address the scalability issue, this approach may not work for everyone (looking at you, windows users and those who aren’t comfortable managing large distributed systems). Also, it’s not fully complete yet. Changing the map update logic requires less work than completing the clustering, as last one involves a lot of systems like the auction house, battlegrounds, arenas, dungeon finder, mail, groups, chats, and others.
So it would be nice to have an option to improve situation in some other way.
