This has never worked right for me. Sometimes it does but very rarely. The 3 or so years I used AzerothCore before I started using playerbots it has been like that.

But like i said, i assumed, it was a playerbots issue because of the rev and i couldn't replicat the issue

It was only a few weeks ago another user tested this on a clean core and it failed, which is why they opened that PR to fix it.
