ah if basic queries remained, mariadb is perfectly fine, but there is few minor incompatibilities between these two server engines (mysql and mariadb)

like few keywords, also mariadb and mysql differently handles json but json queries are not used nor in trinitycore, nor in this project

lazyness is - mariadb and mysql queries can be easily adapted without much hasle, just none rly wants to xD

my opinion is that mariadb was fine to use, there was like 4-5 queries which needed minor adjusts
