Regarding code style and other checks, maybe it's better to use a specialized tool for that? I just found this generic linter — https://coala.io. Here is a check (they call checks "bears") for spacing and new lines like we have - https://github.com/coala/coala-bears/blo...ncyBear.py. It also seems easy to write your own checks (bears). What do you think about it <@224931509046345729> <@456226577798135808> ?

Let's start by solving the issue you have at the moment (how to ignore one check). There are plenty of ways to do it. You have a bunch of options to ignore issues (add comment in the code, ignore file), and in addition, if you write your own check, you can handle this case in the python code.

Then you can utilise this collection of checks - https://github.com/coala/coala-bears/tree/master/bears
Some checks have autosolving feature.
I think it would be easier to maintain and extend checks.
