so it's `-DCONF_DIR` to change that variable and it really doesn't work under nixos so I might have to patch the source to support a config directory through a variable. That's the only logical path forward

you need to create a copy of the config `SoloLfg.conf.dist` -> `SoloLfg.conf` to override the config values

~~cmake wont mention module.conf, it loads in the dist and then the core loads in the conf after the dist~~ thought you were referring to cmake
