if you mean to access your database remotely from outside of your LAN you need to configure your network to allow inbound traffic to access your mysql server by port forwarding. you also need to setup a mysql user to use remotely as using the root account is not secure and remote access is disabled by default

if you mean is there a way to add things automatically to the database, then yes some modules do install their queries automatically if they use the correct layout but not all do, and sometimes this is intentional so you will have to execute the queries manually

if you mean can you take a query from a random forum, it may have some incompatibility problems as you dont know which core it came from and most cores have grown apart in relation to the database schema
