I know there was a point where AC decided to basically ditch MariaDB and sometimes I couldn't even start the server back then. It got stuck in places for what felt like forever. I haven't used MariaDB for AC since then except when running my PTRs.

Like I said it's anywhere between 6 and 10 seconds. Usually it's 6-8 but to be safe I'll say 6-10.

I don't really use it without preloading grids so startup time is longer except when I'm testing stuff I don't bother with preloading
