The path that creatures take to move through the air is strange。
Always beating up and down

No, you don't want to touch the uint32 value yourself

You want to return a value to the function and add that onto the value before it gets returned

So you dont want me to do anything in the lua script to add to the stat using SetUInt32Value?
But then, how do I then get the data from the lua script to the C++ code?

Like, when I login on my character, it would need to grab stuff from the db, then send it from Lua to the c++ and then update the players stats.
I can use the hook/event for that on the UpdateAllStats, but I don't understand how I would set all these things into the stats via LUA.

By returning them through the hook

I get that I need a hook and return them though the hook.
But I am still lost because I don't understand how you can return something to a hook via an event.
Also, I figured out that the UpdateAllStats doesn't really work since sometimes it even does the GetTotalStatValue and doesn't call the UpdateAllStats. This happens when equipping new weapons and stuff.

Like, how would I return something when the "PLAYER_EVENT_ON_LOG_OUT" is called? (This is an example to explain what I am lost on)

Look at how events like PLAYER_EVENT_ON_REPUTATION_CHANGE works
